Principles


The waiting time for the first appointment is up to 48 hours from the patient’s registration.
We provide 24-hour care: visits are carried out at the patient’s home
8.00 AM -8.00 PM (Monday-Sunday).

 

During the visit, nursing and medical treatment, requested by a hospice doctor, are performed.
Our patients may use, free of charge, care of the team which includes:

  • Doctor,
  • Nurse,
  • Physiotherapist,
  • Psychologist (also available for the patient’s family),
  • Chaplin.

Equipment rental rules


The medical equipment we rent to our patients for free:

  • beds,
  • anti-decubitus mattresses,
  • suction pumps,
  • oxygen concentrators,
  • infusion pumps,
  • wheelchairs,
  • mobile toilets,
  • walkers, crutches, canes, etc.

 

A patient who wants to rent the equipment has to be under home hospice care.
While renting the equipment, the Foundation’s employee shall carry out the training on the use of the equipment. You will be asked to sign a statement and pay a refundable deposit of PLN 100. You should make an appointment with a home hospice employee to pick up the equipment at the Foundation’s headquarters.

 

Replaceable disposable materials, such as filters, rubber hoses, catheters, you have to buy on your own, in accordance with the rules of use.  The Foundation repairs equipment in authorized services.

 

In the case of returning damaged equipment a service repair confirmed by a protocol will be made.
The borrower will bear the financial costs of damages incurred as a result of improper use of the equipment if this results from the repair protocol.

 

The borrower is not responsible for the wear of elements resulting from the correct use of the equipment.

Conditions of admission to home hospice


The family or the guardian applies for patient admission in person:
on Mondays and Thursdays, 
8.30 AM – 5.30PM,
on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 8.30 AM – 3.00 AM.


On Saturdays and Sundays, we do not accept applications. Stil, we will provide you with all the necessary information about applications.
